About me

I am a recent graduate from the University of Illinois (UIUC), where I got my bachelor's degree in computer science. My interests include robotics, deep learning, math, and software engineering. My goal for the next decade is to make robots ubiquitous in our everyday lives. I am currently looking for full-time research roles.

Last fall, I worked on frontier VLAs at Dyna Robotics as a research intern. Over the summer, I was writing robotics infrastructure in Rust for Anduril Industries. Previous experiences also include full-stack development at Capital One and LLM finetuning at a startup.

At UIUC, I was the founder and a co-chair for SIGRobotics, a special interest group under ACM@UIUC dedicated to encouraging project-based exploration in robotics.

Past work

• Various robotics projects through SIGRobotics and on my own time, such as building a miniature humanoid, training robotic arms to fold laundry, and learning control theory.
• Developed LeKiwi — a low-cost, open-source mobile manipulator — in collaboration with Huggingface/LeRobot. The project has over 1K stars on Github and has been built by hackers all over the world, has inspired several variants, and is even sold as a kit by several companies.
• Explored Real2Sim pipelines for evaluating robotics policies under Yunzhu Li and Lana Lazebnik.
